A new study published in the journal Foods has confirmed that Cognigrape®, a standardized grape extract by Bionap, can improve cognitive functions in healthy adults over 55. This randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial involved 96 participants, half of whom took a daily dose of 250 mg of Cognigrape® for 12 weeks.
The results showed significant short- and long-term improvements across several cognitive domains, including immediate and delayed memory, visuospatial abilities, language, and attention. Benefits were observed as early as 14 days into the trial, with selective attention showing an acute increase of +8.8% just 90 minutes after the first dose.
Supported by MMSE, RBANS, ENB-2, and Modified Bells Test assessments, these findings underscore the potential of Cognigrape® as a natural support for cognitive health, contributing to healthier and more independent aging.
Cognigrape® is distributed by Faravelli SRO in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary, with a focus on Bionap extracts and final products that support cognitive health.
